Problem: How do I make an informed decision about who I vote for? There’s no way for me to find out what the political representatives in my constituency are up to, how well/poorly they’ve performed, their criminal record history (if any [sic])
Most web start-up ideas fall under two broad categories: me-too’s and potential winners. The problem with a majority of ideas almost always is what I call the entrepreneur’s bias.
Do software patents really achieve anything at all? Clearly, the system has its benefits, but is it broken beyond fixing?
Are some products and services inherently designed to be broken; things their architects or creators must go to great lengths to ensure are broken?
